Designing Web-Based
Narratives |
Carolyn
Guertin |
Our familiarity
with writing for print and our exposure to the aesthetic techniques
of television and film may blind us to the fact that writing
for the hyperlinked Web is a distinctly different art from its
precursors. This class will explore the structure and design
of web-based texts. After reading a range of exemplary works,
students will craft some small narrative networks of their own.
