The trAce Online Writing School is managed by

"Responsive instructors, small class size and the ability to log in anytime and post a question or a comment make trAce a comfortable and rewarding place to learn online." Student, trAce Online Writing School

A new kind of learning and creativity
The trAce Online Writing School offers numerous ways to develop your own creative writing voice through working online with an international team of tutors and students. All courses take place exclusively online, where you interact with your tutor and other students via the discussion boards, email, and occasionally by live chat. You will also receive more traditional learning materials via our easy-to-use learning environment. Students new to online learning will find a wealth of help and support available to guide them through.

Study wherever and whenever you like
All courses take place entirely online and so you will not have to physically attend a class or commit to being available at any specific times. Instead you will log on to your course several times a week to access course materials, submit your writing, and contribute to discussions and critiques of other students' work.

Taking a course online means you can study in any location - from home, work, libraries, internet cafes - in fact anywhere you have access to a computer, a browser and the internet. This makes it perfect for anyone who, for whatever reason, cannot attend a traditional class.

Although the School is based in the UK, both students and tutors come from all over the world. You are welcome wherever you live. However, we do use British spelling on our website. Within the courses, students use their own styles of writing and spelling conventions.

We have a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions page which we hope you will find helpful. If you have any further queries then please contact the School Administrators and we will do our best to advise you.
