Short biography
Chris Jones was born in Nottingham in 1969, but spent most of his formative years growing up in Quorn, just outside Loughborough. He studied English Literature at Newcastle University, then moved to Sheffield University to slowly write a PhD. Chris has been writing poetry since he was 14 and has picked up an Eric Gregory Award along the way, and a minor publishing record. He has taught Adult Education evening classes, university seminars, and was the writer in residence at Nottingham Prison before beginning work as LDO for Leicester County.
