The University
The university begins at a tree-filled park by the striking Romanesque cathedral. A building with a crenelated tower opposite the cathedral was once for visiting kings and now houses (of course!) the philosophy department. Other departments spread out into buildings of various ages, including some handsome old mansions. Walking back to my apartment through the university grounds brought me through an extensive hospital complex.
