Feeding ducks at a park in Lund

Near the center of Lund is a sizable botanical garden, and in another direction a large city park with a lake and swans, mobs of ducks being fed by children, a fountain, a band shell, a theater, an indoor swimming pool, a fragment of the old city rampart, and a large sports facility with sheep grazing around it. There were several good small museums and a few not very adventuresome art galleries. Frequent city busses link all this together, but the distances aren't great; less than an hour's walk can take you anywhere. Around Lund were housing developments in Scandinavian modern styles, with their associated schools and daycare and small parks. There were almost no large suburban shopping centers, and the downtown was always alive.
