Getting used to the town
Two months later at the end of my stay, I walk downtown to the market hall to buy cheese and bread. Then I go to a newspaper store, stop in a cafe for a hot chocolate. (I'd never fit in here because I don't drink coffee.) On the way back I pass through a small triangular park at an intersection, with leaves drifting down from the trees showing interesting buildings more visible than before. If I tire of Lund's hundred thousand inhabitants, a fifteen minute train ride gets me to Malmö's quarter of a million. Another hour and I'm in Copenhagen.
