Not all malls are created equal. There is the shopping plaza, the strip mall fronted by parking, the enclosed plaza, the big box category killer, the destination mall circled by parking, the "lifestyle mall" that mimics a small downtown, the mall at the railroad station, and the urban mall in a historical building. Then there are mixed versions. Then there is the home shopping network, more like a market, with its intimacy to the viewer. Soon the virtual arcade.
