The modern break
Modernity's break with tradition, is it now being reabsorbed by traditionalists and post-post-modernists? Has modern purity and self-definition been completely compromised?To prevent re-absorption into continuity, yet not affirm the break as it had declared itself to be, I have tried the following strategies: revealing the pre-break not to have been so immediate, enfolding the break in moving consciousness, multiplying breaks and mini-breaks, showing the break to be within a field it does not wholly divide.
