Arvon Foundation
The Arvon Foundation has three centres (addresses below). Courses operate throughout the year on various writing topics. These are residential courses where students both live and work with the professional tutors.

Arvon has recently acquired a fourth centre in Shropshire, with funds awarded under the Capital Lottery Scheme, which it is in the process of renovating and equipping for the Year 2000.

Taliesin Trust
Residential writer's centre set up by the Taliesin Trust. Promotes writing in both English and Welsh. Some Monday evening to Saturday morning courses, some weekend courses.
