I've traveled on six Royal Caribbean ships over the past few summers. Each time before booking I made sure Labadee was in the itinerary. It's the most picturesque port of call I have ever been to. You arrive to the island by tender from the ship. There are tons of activities to chose from. Bake in the sun on a comfortable lounge chair or catch a nap in a shaded hammock hung between two palm trees. Swim in the cool refreshing water or explore the island. If you get hungry there are many different restaurants to chose from that serve hamburgers and hot dogs brought from the ship. You can purchase beautiful hand made items from natives in the straw market. When you get back to the beach they have wave runners, kayaks, and floating mats that you can rent. There is also the huge water park and the banana boat that you can pay to go on. When the sun starts to set in the horizon and the ships horn blows a final warning to come back I'm not ready to leave. I can hardly wait until my next visit.

Royal Caribbean staffers have to making the favorable comments here.
What a waste land of a place to go to. First off its in HAITI but RC likes to say its Hispaniola, which is technically correct because that is the island on which Haiti is located. Its always been a unstable and dangerous place to be. The area is fenced off by 10-12 feet fences patrolled by machine gun toting security. The beach is nice, but this beach can be found any where in the Caribbean. Food is brought off the ship which is average to start, but gets worse as it sits there on the beach. I would not recommend this for any reason!!!!
