Places are always being reconstructed and reinterpreted as they are repeated through time
Spread out in time, social grammars are kept in being through their reproduction and reinterpretation. In this process, change has always occurred, but now change has accelerated and become more self-conscious. Places change in many ways, some ordinary, some extraordinary. Some changes are consciously directed, some occur behind our backs.
