A door to more technical considerations
Could we think in terms of a movement toward greater individual and social self-possession, located within the ongoing re-appropriation and re-creation of already active sets of possibilities? We are never in a position to dominate completely, or to create total rationality in the textures of action that define us, but we can come to be more critically aware of our participation in the process of their support and reinterpretation through time.
This paradoxical active-passive repetition can be further discussed using some Germanic and French ideas.
