"Poetry, teaching, textiles and photography have interwoven in my life, providing different ways of handling materials and responding to what is around me. The web is new to me, and I've been excited by seeing how it can plait these threads together and link them with other stories and responses. The project has introduced me to another creative medium which can organise thoughts, spark off fresh ideas and directions, and transport me to other places in the same ways as a poem, a picture, a cushion. I'm looking forward to exploring new possibilities."
