Bright boil song, shadowless time,
Seaside dance, brooms and determination of women
Questing toward windmill giants
Amazing in their wildness.

No length of rope taunts their necks
Nearly free as the sun, which long and longer
Strides with feet of glittering day into equal night,
Celebrating solstice.

Bless this day and all who dwell now,
Those we've lost and those to come.
Comb the sea from tangled thought and
