"the last letter of the
Name has been written"

The folk assemble in the Forest to find another clue.

If the "Book" is dead, would we discover the corpse in Sherwood Forest?

In a hypertext One clue is at the Castleystery such as this, we are likely to find answers that lead in many directions.  Robin Hood and his Band were breaking Royal Law when they invaded the "King's Preserve" of Sherwood Forest.  By the end of "Bad" King John's reign, the nobles of Britain forced him to sign (1215) a very important "Book,"  the Another at the Galleries of Justiceagna Carta. This document changed the "law" ever after.

You, dear sleuth and writer, are invited to speculate on the strange relationships between Eleanor of Aquitaine, King Richard, King John, and Robin and his Merry Men, and how the legend becomes the "Book."  What do we know, and how do we know it??

About the Forest

Famous around the world as the legendary home of Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest, at the heart of Nottinghamshire, has fascinated visitors since Victorian times.
