The Nahuatl elders told the story of Huitzilopochtli. Coyolxauhqui, the elder sister, the defeated warrior, has her own story. If she were a Mexica girl, this story would go one way. Since she was a Mexica warrior, her story could have gone another. Or perhaps, since she was both, the boundaries of woman and warrior are not so clear.
