Here's a lark. Writers were invited to draft a piece of writing on the theme of 'the longest day / the shortest day' then send it to me on June 21st 2000: the summer/winter solstice, the longest day in the northern hemisphere and the shortest day in the southern hemisphere. The work could be prose poetry drama fiction fact any category at all. It could be short long medium-sized.

It could be inspired by the summer/winter solstice, or simply by the title of the project. Each piece was supposed to include the words 'sun' and 'day', which then form hyperlinks to other pieces.
