Stone flags
Bloodstained,
Wary cockroaches
And bones,bones,bones.

An underground tomb
For the living.

'My longest day,'
Confided the Minotaur
To the television reporter,
'Was when my mother
Dumped me here
As a baby.

I waited and waited

But she never came back
And the sun never shone again.'
