Peter Howard studied Physics and Philosophy at Hertford College, Oxford, and
currently works as a telecommunication system design consultant in Cambridge. His poetry
has appeared in many places, including Poetry Review, The Rialto, The Independent, The
Faber Book of Christmas, Channel 4 television, and various sites on the World Wide Web.
His work has won numerous prizes and commendations in poetry competitions. He writes about
poetry on the Internet for Poetry Review. He has been Section Leader of the No Holds
Barred section of the CompuServe Poetry Forum, and joint Sysop of the Forum. His short
collection Low Probability of Racoons was published in 1994. Both The Writer's Handbook
and The Writers' and Artists' Yearbook cite him as someone who knows something about
Internet poetry.
