Some basic Lambda commands which are slightly different to those at LinguaMOO

 

To log on co guest

(logging on also involves answering a series of questions)

To move rooms at Lambda can be navigated only by numbers, not names.

As at LinguaMOO, the command is @go.

For example, @go #17 takes you to the Living Room

some rooms also contain named exits. Simply type the name of the exit e.g. north

People To find out who is online type @users

To find out who is online and where they are type whereis

To discover if a particular person is online type whereis <name>

 

Objects

To find out information about an object, what it is, who it belongs to, and how to use it, type @examine <object> E.g. in the Living Room (#17) there is a Lag Meter. Type @examine lag meter to find out what the Lag Meter is and what it does.

 

Abilities

Guests at LambdaMOO are fairly limited in their powers, but the command @features will tell you what you are able to do. As a guest you will probably find you have three features (otherwise known as FOs)

Getting a character
