with the focus on creativity, collaboration and training.

and expand the potential of the global literary community.

Consultancy
We offer project management, consultancy
and bespoke training for writers, individuals and organisations.
Writing
School
A choice of courses include fiction,
children's fiction, poetry, writing for theatre and more.
Kids
on the Net
A site for young people featuring writing by children at
home and at school all over the world. We encourage submissions
of poems, stories, and contributions to our Friends, Opinions
and All About Me pages. We promote creativity and collaboration
online as well as the use of the Internet to encourage reading
and writing. Our two biggest collaborative projects are
Kids' Castle - based on Nottingham's castle in 1480, with
various writing activities - and Monster Motel - with over
6000 monster descriptions written by kids world-wide (both
sites designed by Mark Burgess and the Castle written by
Philip Ardagh). We also work with libraries, communities,
teachers and schools on- and off-line to create web-specific
writing projects such as Daisy and the Intergalactic Travelling
Salesmen or Planet of Dreams hypertext stories and creative
websites involving whole schools.
