Matt Fair

Gandha Key, London, UK - this stamp is inspired by the tree dwellers in London who were trying to stop a motorway being built that would require the cutting down of many trees and also the demolition of streets of houses. It is a very sad story. Anyway, people actually lived in the trees during two seasons and a High Court Judge ruled that "If a tree has a postbox then it is deemed to be a legal residence"... this is how the protestors got their mail from around the world.
