Established over seventy years ago, with membership open to all persons, of whatever age, with an interest in writing (prose or poetry) for publication. Existing membership includes published authors as well as beginners. Meetings are held at the New Mechanics, Trinity Square, Nottingham, on the first and third Wednesday of every month.

Basically hold surgeries, supportive discussions, exchange information and peer criticism.
