He dreams: Thomas Alva Edison Matey-boy, legendary voyager, lies down upon the sea and sails. Flying and falling he sails unseen no sea and all the while he changes.

What he becomes is corpse and corpuscle, vessel and vesicle. This keel that is my spine, these vaulted ribs my whalebones, this hull my strange new flesh. But how does it work, this dream of life in death?

That would be trade secret, closely held. We could say, but then we'd have to consume your body. No, just kidding -- in truth we can't say, it all just happens emergently. Life is like that.
