O bla dee
I can see clearly

My vision was just that: literally, vision. Which is to say, I was injured in a freak accident involving a convertible sofa and a home exercise machine. The neurologists could find nothing wrong physically, but I had become suddenly and completely blind. I was plunged into darkness. The world as I knew it was totally lost to me. Then one day as my husband was driving me to a chiropractic appointment, I happened to hear Mel Tormé singing Joni Mitchell's "Clouds." Within seconds my eyesight returned, clear and unimpaired. The world came back to me and I to it, and the meaning of this vision was, life goes on.
I have since run twice (unsuccessfully) for local office.
