Poetry attacks victims will usually be found in bookstores, libraries, recitals, classes of Letters, festivals, etc. Students of Literature have been found to have a proensity for attacks. The fatal attack may be preceeded by the onset of general studio malaise and an occasional incidence of classroom narcolepsy. When the victim becomes aware of the division between his mundane life and his sanctified Poetry, he may attemp a self-cure through Conceptual Art, Punk, Minimal, Mail Art or other popular forms of "Anti Art". A more effective treatment involves the poet revolutionizing his relationship to the Poetry World. A simple case may be allieviated with the smashing of a particular poem. More advanced cases may requires the destruction of entire libraries, files and Poetry Schools.
