Joel Weishaus is a veteran of the late 1960s, when he was the Literary Editor of U.C. Berkeley's student newspaper. In the 1980s, Weishaus was a sculptor, art critic, and Adjunct Curator at The University of New Mexico's Fine Arts Museum. The next decade found him as a Writer-in-Residence at UNM's Center for Southwest Research, where his archive resides. The on-line version of this archive is at www.unm.edu/~reality. Weishaus presently resides in Portland Oregon, writing book reviews for the daily newspaper, and introducing the concepts of web-specific writing to various literary organizations.
