Human (II)

"Semiotics is not an exact science." you sd.
A born-again Christian gives me a bible to soothe,
supply an ever-
questioning mind with black & white;

The New International Version,
"Very readable." he sd.--
                                                      as dry as could be.

We impose the conditional measure of
Time to order
Space qualify infinitude bring it down to a level with the earth we call
small --

                         (fear wrenching us
                                                                                    from  the sublime...)

Choosing language as a limit we say sentimental,
claiming cynicism as the intelligentsia's badge
of honor--

my desk full of bones scents papers attempts
 at communication--
Time
will alter transform them all beyond
context beyond
syntax beyond
   limits--
