Consider this an invitation to the Chocolate Mountains.

To get here, you can come in from Los Angeles on the 10 Freeway. That's the way most of the artists come. There have been a few from Arizona, by way of Blythe, or up from Mexico, through Yuma or Brawley.

Once you are off the highway, the road turns into a two-lane affair that is paved until Midway Springs, and then it's dirt the rest of the way.
