Chapter 76

Softness, fluidity and suppleness are the qualities
of living things.
While rigidity and inflexibility are the qualities
dead things.

As artists we must develop, as our companions,
the qualities of the former while overcoming
the qualities of the latter if we are to
lead a fully vital, creative life.

The mastercraftsmen are able to renew themselves
even in old age.
Because they keep their child like wonder intact,
They always draw new life
from the Creative Harmony.
