29 1) Do you want to change
the world?
Which one, and in what way?
Are you so arrogant as to
think that you know what it needs?
The world is a vessel of
spirit
Thus, it is worlds within
worlds within worlds.
Do you know them all?
In addition,
Things are always in a state
of flux;
rising into vogue and falling
into obscurity,
gathering strength, and
losing power,
moving ahead, and slipping
behind.
Therefore, the mastercraftsman
doesn’t give in to trying to
keep up with everything,
doesn’t worry himself over
trying to control everything.
Thus, he rests in the deeper
rythmns of life
and expresses them in his work.[1]

[1] The work that a Sufi considers to be his sacred task has nothing to do with any particular creed, nor has it to do with any particular religion; it is only this simple thing: to be in rhythm with life's conditions and to be in tune with the infinite.
