Only four of the six dancers are visible to the camera. Only one of the six dancers has a readable face. All of the six dancers have dark hair pulled back. All SIX DANCERS are graceful. They are cogs on a wheelmachine with MARTHA GRAHAM and HELEN KELLER at its hub.
MARTHA GRAHAM wears her signature long flowing dress. The camera cannot see her feet. Like the SIX DANCERS, MARTHA GRAHAM's arms are extended out from her sides. (MARTHA GRAHAM looks at HELEN KELLER.) HELEN KELLER is able to discover, with her hands, the line of body and limb that is the living pattern of the dance. But HELEN KELLER's hands reach upwards. While the others look to turn, HELEN KELLER looks up. Her right hand dissapears into light.
She doesn't share in this dance.
She is static. She is ecstatic.
