This part of Long Island was mostly woods and potato farms. The house was surrounded by trees. An old, white, Colonial with a big screened-in porch, set on an acre and a half. The centerpiece of the garden was a concrete fountain with a statue of a naked little boy set above a tiered bird bath. The boy was holding onto his penis, out of which flowed a constant stream of water.
